Way to represent N.C.! On to nationals. This will be the second trip there for some of the 02 boys, who won it two years ago.

Nicely done. What's the story with the PTFC team? GUSA/Twins/Fusion must be shaking their heads on that one!

That group has been together for a while, and has won a couple state championships. They are well coached, and certainly have excelled the past two years.

The few times I’ve seen PTFC teams play, they played a very athletic, physical style. That can give many less physical, possession style teams a fit if they can’t hold their discipline. (and even some who can if the physical team can also possess enough to avoid being one dimensional). Throw in some talented athletic strikers, and you have a very dangerous team. Interestingly, the team they beat (Mt Pleasant) plays a similar style. I bet that was an exciting game to watch.
