I think it is a split conference and Hoggard will play them twice.

From what I have seen, Heritage and Green Hope are a step above the rest of the competition. Anyone seen anything else this year?

Agreed. The next group is Gibbons, Broughton and Panther Creek.

And? Holly Springs is way down this year and is losing to everyone. You lost to Cape Fear Academy, you shouldn't post until you beat a good team.

What is the makeup of Heritage players? What club teams are they playing on? The force seems to be strong with this one.

Yeah, that's one team I am not familiar with either.

You best just worry about Ashley and NHHS for now. PC is a 2nd tier team now and Sanderson has lost 5 games.

A lot of talented NCFc youth players, not sure the level. But they play their system very well. Well coached to play fast and physical and get after teams. Best team I have seen so far.

Also commonly known as "Punt as Run?"

Yea Hoggard plays them 2x's but they are 3A. Just have to beat Laney and Ashley to get top 4A seed.

Yeah, if you are lucky enough to earn a top 5 4A seed lets you play a mid conference triangle team, which will lead to another early exit

Nope, they are very composed on the ball and can move it. Also, its hard to keep possession on a narrow football field, so a lot of Raleigh games turn into "punt and run"

I'm not a fan of Heritage whatsoever, but they have a very strong team, and it's definitely not "punt and run." I can't imagine how much more dangerous they'd be if there weren't players from that school in DA. When the school opened, they took sports seriously and have built a fine athletic program across the board, soccer included. Although, I do have to wonder how so many good athletes in multiple sports end up transferring into capped schools so easily.

No love for RJ Reynolds yet? Interesting.

The one game they lost they out shot West 19-7 iirc.

Lots of talk about Raleigh and teams east of there on this site along with sprinkling in of Charlotte high schools.

I would have thought after Reagan snuck up on everyone a couple years ago that more attention would be paid to the Triad area.... maybe not though.
