You know funny thing, I am at an event for HS age kids this week in Italy, there are no less than 6 University scouts. A soccer camp for HS players run by University Soccer scouts. Hmmm.....

I think we have missed the "there is no difference between 2A and 4A" topic...

I thought of another.

When someone posts one of the following:

High School A - 1
High School B - 0

"High School A controlled the game, but couldn't put any more balls in the net"

Which inevitably followed by:

"I wouldn't say that HS A controlled the game. HS B played well and controlled a good portion of the first half".

There are various flavors of the above. If it's a lopsided score, then the score was not indicative of the play (posted by the losing team), etc., etc.

It's funny how you can review a score thread and find the post that will get a reply somewhere further down in the thread refuting the impression of first poster. Love it when I can predict accurately.

I can't wait for someone to get on here and complain about the Eurosportscoreboard rankings, all region/all state selections. Half of the complaints would be eliminated if the schools:

1) Updated the scoreboard website
2)Coaches are paid members of NCSCA
3) Coaches actually attend the region and all state meetings

"The joy of soccer is that the ball is a perfect object and it doesn't make mistakes - the more you use it the less mistakes you make"- Craig Johnston

If you woke up this morning it is because Nemanja Vidic spared your life. In an average room there are 1,243 objects that Nemanja Vidic could use to kill you, Including the room itself. Nemanja Vidic would have built Rome in a day. The chief export of Nemanja Vidic is pain. Nemanja Vidic once played Russian Roulette with a loaded gun and won. Nemanja Vidic crossed the road. No one dared question his motives. Nemanja Vidic once killed four birds with half a stone. (What's that? There's no such thing as half a stone? The four dead birds didn't think so either).

UNION COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL SOCCER

Let the countdown begin.

DOR it is so nice to see your wisdom grow with age...

Aside from that fact... everyone knows the only football that matters for boys in the fall is the pointy ball...

The thing that MS soccer prooves is there is so much talent out there that can either not afford to play club soccer or the coaching at club soccer lacks a full understanding of how to motavite players at the middle school ages.. Both my kids have played club and middle school and each and every season I see kids out there I've never seen before competing with the best any club in our area has to offer... why are they not playing club one might ask??? Its called cash and politics...

Motavite sounds like a banned substance that should be avoided. That has been 'prooven' (SIC)

If by "competing with the best any club in our area has to offer" means that they are as good or better, then I doubt it's "politics" that's preventing them from playing. Cash? Sure.

But the funniest part (to me) is you defending middle school soccer in this thread. No one here is dumping on MS soccer, they (we) just think it's funny that there is 1 county in NC that somehow requires discussion here on the forum. Something unique about it, it seems.

You are in Italy and had a desire to get online and see what is happening on this board?

You are in need of serious help.

Having seen MS soccer, while I enjoy watching the little ones play, it is not good soccer. I don't think the amount of talent out there not playing club is vast as you seem to describe, but of course there is always a diamond in the rough. Perhaps it is more related to your particular school.

Crap, now I remember. Well this gives Barry the perfect opportunity to make another of his childish comments.
